FAQ
We believe in transparency from the start. Below you’ll find answers to the most common questions landowners have about working with ReGen. If you don’t see your question answered here, we’re happy to discuss it directly.
Getting Started
How do I begin working with ReGen?
Can I hire ReGen for just a consultation without a full engagement?
Absolutely. One-off consultations are within our scope of work. Whether you need specific guidance on a single issue or a comprehensive long-term engagement, we tailor our services to fit your needs.
What's the minimum property size you work with?
We’re willing to work with landowners who have as few as 20 acres. For properties smaller than 20 acres, we evaluate requests on a case-by-case basis depending on the client’s specific needs and project scope.
What information do I need to provide to get started?
Services & Pricing
How does ReGen structure pricing?
We use a combination of pricing structures depending on the service: flat fees for defined projects, hourly or monthly rates for ongoing work, retainer agreements for continuous access to consulting services, and commission-based fees for certain operational services.
Each proposal clearly outlines the pricing structure and what’s included. Our goal is transparency—you’ll know exactly what you’re paying for and why.
Do you require a retainer or deposit?
For certain projects, yes. This depends on the scope and nature of the work. We’ll discuss payment terms during the proposal stage so everything is clear before we begin.
When do you send invoices?
For established clients, we bill on a monthly cycle. For project-based work, invoicing follows the terms outlined in the agreement.
Do you offer payment plans or phased engagements?
Do you provide ongoing services or just one-time projects?
The Process
How long does a typical project take?
Will you need to visit my property multiple times?
In most cases, yes. Thorough forest management and analysis typically require multiple site visits across different seasons or project phases. One-time visits do occur on a case-by-case basis, depending on the project scope.
What if my property has access issues or I'm an absentee owner?
We use a combination of approaches: working with you to assess historical access routes, reviewing historical imagery and data, and reaching out to relevant parties who may be able to grant access. We’re experienced in handling properties with unique access challenges.
Do you provide emergency or urgent services?
